For years, we’ve been scrubbing cell phones out of our lists to comply with FCC autodialer rules, or hand-dialing cell phones despite high costs. But then it dawned on us: instead of manually dialing cell phones, why don’t we manually text them? With manual intervention, we can legally text people directly off the voter file without their opt-in. While some campaigns have used volunteers for “textbanks,” we’ve taken manual texting to the next level.
The advantage of being on the cutting edge of voter contact is that you can get in on the ground level of an unpolluted medium. People read their texts, so texting delivers real results.
