Don't Lose Votes Because of Bad Data

Over the years, we noticed that campaigns and organizations alike suffered from one big issue: outdated, inaccurate phone number data. The good news is, we can fix that!

We’ve been appending better phone numbers across the country through our data enhancing service. In just a couple short hours, we can take any list of records with full addresses and find accurate, updated phone numbers, and verify existing phones too.

For example, we added 240,000 good working phone numbers of People of Color to the Florida file that no one else could find. Our improvements to VAN data in Minnesota resulted in the correction of 29% of their data and added phone numbers to 12% of the list where there were none. We are the only firm that systematically improves the data Democratic campaigns and progressive causes use.

How to Use Your Telephone Town Hall Data

How to Use your Telephone Town Hall Data Image

Holding a Telephone Town Hall provides your campaign or organization with an amazing outreach tool to build support and discuss important issues. But the data you can collect from a Telephone Town Halls is equal to or even more powerful than the conversation. During the Telephone Town Hall we gather a lot of information from the targeted universe we called. We provide you with: Who participated in the event How long each person participated for How each participant responded to poll questions The list of people who wanted to ask a question Any information the question screeners took down about their conversation with the participant On top of all this data we collect for each event, the other source of data back from the Telephone Town Hall comes from the survey questions you ask during the event. If it’s a Telephone Town Hall for a political candidate, we can ask participants to press 1 to indicate that they’re supporting that candidate or press 2 if they’re still undecided and need more information. This will help build your lists for persuasion and turnout. And if you’re using a Telephone Town Hall to announce your campaign, these lists of supporters will help jump start your campaign and build the basis of your field team. If it’s a Telephone Town Hall for an advocacy campaign or membership organization, we can ask survey questions throughout the event to find out where they stand on different issues and identify who is willing to take action and get more involved. People who stay on the line for more than five minutes are ideal supporters to target for donations or volunteers. The collected data is as important as the conversation during the event. When you’re crafting your Telephone Town Hall, Stones’ Phones will work with you before, during, and after the event to make sure you can effectively use the data collected. • BlackPAC Manual Texting
The 2018 midterms were the first big chance for Democrats to push back against the Trump Administration. In Georgia, Democrats had landed a dream congressional candidate, Lucy McBath: an outspoken Black woman whose son was killed by a white man who objected to loud music he was playing with friends in a car. BlackPAC wanted to dramatically increase enthusiasm and turnout from Black voters in her district. We put together a program with four rounds of texts to all Black voters in the district. These texts ranged from encouragement to affect change to info on how to find a polling location. These were sent during the early voting period and the lead up to the general election. For the first time since the 1970s, a Democrat won the district, and did so by a mere 3,000 votes. Proving that every vote, and every text, matters.
  • George Gascón for L.A. District Attorney
With George Gascón’s announcement to run for Los Angeles District Attorney, Stones’ Phones developed a targeted text and auto-call program to get him through the 2019 primary. We started the outreach ahead of the primary by using our versatile text capabilities to message Democrats and likely supporters local event invitations, links to a persuasive video profile piece, and notifications on local community leaders’ endorsements. With each text message sent, we were able to track RSVPs, link clicks, as well as those with positive responses throughout the process.
