Silvia Ruelas joined Stones’ Phones in September of 2018. She is a proud
Mexican-American that was raised in the Coachella Valley of Southern
Silvia is bilingual in Spanish and English and is the first individual in her
family to attend and graduate from a university. She obtained her Bachelor of
Arts in Political Science and minored in Classical Civilization from the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in just three years.
Silvia has a passion for international relations and entered the UCLA Burkle
Center for International Relations: International Coexistence Contest. Her
team’s research proposal concerning water politics and its role in the Israeli-
Palestinian conflict was awarded second place.
Prior to joining Stones’ Phones, Silvia interned at the District Office of
Congressman Brad Sherman in Sherman Oaks, California.
