Lead Project Manager
Amanda joined the Stones’ Phones team in June of 2017. She is a native of North Carolina and a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied Political Science along with Social and Economic Justice. Through all four years of her undergraduate career she worked as a legal assistant in a law practice. Before joining us she also interned in the office of Congressman David Price.
For two years she worked with PIRG in various capacities. She was a top canvasser for PIRG’s fundraising arm, The Fund, working on fundraising for environmental protection. During the 2016 election cycle, she managed PIRG’s student GOTV campaign in Chapel Hill, and helped PIRG in the fight that brought down North Carolina’s suppressive voter ID laws. After the 2016 election she created and managed an issue campaign with PIRG that focused on protecting and expanding voting access in North Carolina.
In her down time, you can find Amanda cheering on the Tar Heels in college basketball, doing yoga, and exploring DC.
