Patrick McGill, Strategist

Patrick McGill joined the Stones' Phones team in May of 2008. He grew up in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he got his first taste of politics watching election night coverage. As a student at American University, Patrick was dedicated to improving the sense of community. He served as student government vice president and vice president for outreach of the spirit club, the AU Blue Crew. During his tenure in the Blue Crew, membership in the club grew from a few dozen to almost a thousand.

Patrick spent two semesters with the communications firm, Luntz Maslansky Strategic Research in Alexandria, VA where he learned how one word, or one carefully crafted phrase, can make the difference in politics. Patrick also interned with Senator Bernie Sanders where he spent too much time walking the halls of the Capitol staring at his favorite progressive Senators.

Patrick received his B.A. in Political Science in May 2008 from American University. When not in the office, Patrick can be seen riding a Segway and dodging tourists on the streets of Washington.
