Kathryn Poindexter, Strategist

Over the last ten years, Kathryn Poindexter has worked on campaigns of all shapes and sizes: local and national, electoral and organizational, candidate-focused and issue-based. As a strategist for Stones' Phones, Kathryn works with electoral and advocacy campaigns to develop plans of action and reach target audiences through innovative technologies and sharp messaging. She has a wide spectrum of skills that she puts to use in day-to-day work at Stones' Phones, and is influenced by her experience as a mail consultant, a media strategist (MacWilliams Kirchner Sanders and Partners), a pollster (Lake Research Partners) and a non-profit and campaign staffer.

She's noted for her skills in helping progressive candidates in tight races by using a fresh approach to technology and extending budgets with creative thinking. Kathryn studied Philosophy and Women's Studies at Tulane University's Newcomb College. She was voted Manager of the Year by her wiffleball league, sits on the board of the Environmental Action PAC and teaches yoga.
